What is a proxy card?

A proxy card is a fan-made substitute for an official Magic: The Gathering card. Proxies are commonly used for casual play, deck testing, cube, and personal collections. Proxy cards are not tournament legal and are not affiliated with Wizards of the Coast.

Are these cards legal to play with?

Proxy cards are not legal for sanctioned tournament play. However, they are widely accepted in casual formats such as Commander, Cube, and playgroups that follow Rule 0. Always check with your playgroup or local store before use.

Are these official Magic: The Gathering cards?

No. Proxy Pantheon creates original, fan-made proxy cards with bespoke artwork. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or associated with Wizards of the Coast.

Why do players use proxies?

Players use proxies to:

Play Commander without budget restrictions
Protect expensive original cards
Test decks before investing
Enjoy cohesive art styles and themes not available in official printings

Proxies make casual play more accessible and expressive.

PRODUCT QUALITY & PRINTING

Do the cards feel real when sleeved?

Yes. All cards are printed at standard TCG size (63×88mm) on premium S33 black core cardstock. When sleeved, they are indistinguishable in thickness and feel from other cards in a deck.

What is black core cardstock?

Black core cardstock includes an opaque inner layer that prevents light bleed-through, improves durability, and gives the card a professional feel similar to commercially printed trading cards.

Are your designs original?

Yes. All Proxy Pantheon cards feature bespoke, fan-made artwork and custom borderless designs. While the game mechanics reference existing Magic cards, the visual presentation is original.

Will these cards damage my real cards if played together?

No. Our cards are printed to standard thickness and finish. When sleeved properly, they will not damage or mark official cards.

DECKS & SINGLES

What comes with a Commander deck?

Each Commander deck includes:

A full 100-card proxy deck
All lands, spells, and commander
Any listed bonus cards, alternate arts, or tokens shown on the product page

Exact contents are always listed on each deck’s product page.

Do decks include tokens?

Many decks include tokens where relevant. If tokens are included, they will be clearly listed in the product description.

Can I buy single cards instead of full decks?

Yes. Proxy Pantheon offers both individual proxy cards and complete Commander decks. Singles are ideal for upgrading existing decks or collecting specific artwork.

Do you offer custom or commissioned cards?

At this time, we do not offer custom commissions. All available designs are listed in the shop.

ORDERS, SHIPPING & RETURNS

Where do you ship from?

Orders ship from our shipping partner in Honolulu, Hawaii.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes. We ship worldwide. International orders may be subject to customs fees or import taxes depending on your country.

How long does shipping take?

USA: Orders should arrive within 2-6 business days via USPS First Class.
International: Orders should arrive within 7-21 business days for most countries.

Do you accept returns or refunds?

Yes, we offer 30-day returns. All items must be shipped back in their original condition for a refund, less any associated shipping fees.

Is Proxy Pantheon affiliated with Wizards of the Coast?

No. Proxy Pantheon is an independent brand creating fan-made proxy cards for casual play. All Magic-related trademarks belong to Wizards of the Coast.
